a Colorado native living a life that’s equal parts chaotic and beautiful. I married my husband, Cameron, at 19 after meeting him at 14 (crazy) and together we’ve been blessed with a life that I couldn’t have even imagined. When not helping me with photography, my husband is the most amazing ER nurse—he’s the calm in the storm (even on stressful wedding days) handling the most intense situations with a level of care and compassion that blows me away every day.

We balance each other out because we’re complete opposites—he thrives in the chaos of the ER, while I find my calm in late night editing, coffee at my friends house and scrapbooking. Between raising two little ones, serving at church, and making time for the occasional weekend getaway (which usually involves strolling through antique shops and trying everything from fine cuisine to a good burger joint), our life is busy, but it’s our kind of busy.
Our life is simple—on the days when he is not in the ER, we wake up and ease into the mornings, figuring out how to make each day count, knowing we’ll fail a few times, but always trying again. We take the kids to the park, have fires in the backyard with friends, and enjoy the simplicity of playing Settlers of Catan with our family. We cherish fellowship with our amazing church family, grounding ourselves in our community. When he’s at work, I focus on raising our two little ones—1 and 4 years old—figuring out how to be both a homemaker and a business owner. Navigating both can be challenging at times, but I love it, and I feel blessed to have the opportunity to experience it all. Every day is an adventure, and while let’s admit…it’s not easy, I wouldn’t trade it for anything.
